Cap-Net Lanka conducted its third training programme for 2022 on 29 July 2022 at the Sarvodaya Conference Hall, Kandy.
The leading partner of the programme was Research for Development Innovations Alliance Lanka (ReDI), Polgasowita, Sri Lanka, a non-governmental organization.
Twenty-two (22) participants (11 females and 11 males) aged 18 – 28 from the Kandy area attended the programme.
The programme covered the following areas:
- Analysis of production problems of small landowners and adopt new practices for economic and healthy progression of the family
- Planting bamboo for water security and erosion control
- Economic benefits of the new initiative
- Preparing a map and action plan to establish small blocks of bamboo plantations
